No wonder, Airtel has made it easy for its users in Uganda to pay for Netflix subscription using the mobile money services. The process is straightforward and easy. All you need to do is to get yourself the Airtel virtual MasterCard. In this we will show everything, from how to get an Airtel virtual card on your mobile money to how you can pay for Netflix using the Airtel MasterCard.

How to get an Airtel MasterCard on mobile money

Here is how you can get yourself an Airtel virtual MasterCard to facilitate online bills payment and internet shopping in your daily life:

Go to your phone and dial *185*7#, then press OK.
Choose option 8, Airtel Money MasterCard.
Then select option 1, Get a Card.
Enter your Airtel Money PIN to continue.
Airtel will debit your mobile money account UGX 1,000 prior creating your virtual MasterCard.

Once that is done, you will receive an SMS with details on how you can access the details of your Airtel MasterCard. Note that any Airtel virtual card is valid for 30 days before expiring. That is it! Now you can proceed to Netflix and pay for any subscription package using your Airtel Mobile money account.

How to pay for Netflix Subscription using Airtel Money in Uganda

Once your card is ready, and you have accessed its details, proceed to choose the Netflix package in Uganda package you want to subscribe to. In case you want to review the details of your Airtel virtual MasterCard, dial *185*7*9*1# then enter the pin.

Open the Netflix App on your Android or iPhone device. If you do not have the app, launch your favorite browser on your PC or tablet and navigate the Netflix website.
You will first have to sign up and register for a Netflix account in case you don’t have one. Select your preferred Netflix Monthly package and click Next.
The billing page will appear and prompt you to enter your Airtel MasterCard details such as card number, CVV, and expiring date.
Accept the Netflix Terms of Use and Privacy Statement. Click Start Membership to finalize your subscription.
