1. Pay Netflix subscription using MTN mobile money
To pay for Netflix subscriptions using MTN mobile money, you will need to first create a Momo virtual card following the steps below:
- Go to your phone and dial *165*70# then press OK
- On the next menu, choose option 2 “Create MoMocard”
- Now, your will be prompted to enter your MTN mobile money PIN.

2. Pay Netflix subscription using Airtel mobile money
Just like MTN, Airtel too requires you to first create an Airtel money Mastercard in order to pay for streaming services online like Netflix. To do so, please follow the simple steps below:
- Go to your phone and dial *185*7# via Airtel.
- Choose option 8, AirtelMoney MasterCard.
- Then, select option 1, Get a Card.
- Now, enter your Airtel mobile money PIN to confirm your action.
Airtel will immediately charge you UGX 1,000 and your MasterCard Virtual card will be created. Information regarding the details of your Airtel virtual card will be sent via SMS. In case you want to review your Airtel MasterCard details, dial *185*7*9*1# then enter the pin.
After creating your Airtel MasterCard, you can log into your Netflix account and follow the screen steps to pay for subscription. Where they require payment method, choose credit card and provide the details of your Airtel virtual MasterCard.
